'Armani' is an exclusive Darwin hybrid with deep red, velvety blooms on solid 45-50 cm stems that shrug off wind and rain. Planted deep it returns reliably year after year, flowering from late April — a dramatic, elegant counterpoint to spring's pastels and an excellent long-lasting cut flower. Full sun, well-drained soil, 15 cm deep, 12 cm apart. Pre-order for the August-September 2027 planting season.

Plant the bulbs in autumn (September–November) before the frost arrives. Set them pointy end up in well-drained soil — as a rule of thumb 2-3 times the bulb's height deep. Water after planting, then let nature do the rest. After flowering, let the foliage die down completely before removing it so the bulb can recharge for next year.
