Tulip 'Newcastle'

'Newcastle' is a double fringed tulip with soft lilac blooms — peony-like flowers with delicately fringed petal edges that catch dew and morning light beautifully. Compact at 25–40 cm, it is superb in pots and window boxes as well as at the front of a border, and makes a luxurious cut flower. Bulb size 10/11, frost hardy. Plant 10–15 cm deep in well-drained soil in full sun in autumn. Pre-order for the August–September 2027 planting season.
