The famous Van Eijk strength in a warm, gentle orange that glows rather than shouts. Classic upright blooms on sturdy 55 cm stems that shrug off wind and rain, flowering in April. Beautiful beside its pink-red brother 'Van Eijk' or with blue spring flowers. Plant 15 cm deep in full sun; a true perennial Darwin hybrid.

Plant the bulbs in autumn (September–November) before the frost arrives. Set them pointy end up in well-drained soil — as a rule of thumb 2-3 times the bulb's height deep. Water after planting, then let nature do the rest. After flowering, let the foliage die down completely before removing it so the bulb can recharge for next year.
