The flagship of the famous Impression series: enormous, fist-sized blooms in saturated mauve-pink with a soft red-pink flame and a deep blue-black base. Vigorous growth on 55 cm stems, flowering in April, and famously reliable — plant 15 cm deep in full sun and it returns for many seasons. Best in generous groups of 25 or more.

Plant the bulbs in autumn (September–November) before the frost arrives. Set them pointy end up in well-drained soil — as a rule of thumb 2-3 times the bulb's height deep. Water after planting, then let nature do the rest. After flowering, let the foliage die down completely before removing it so the bulb can recharge for next year.
