Description

A gloriously eccentric Darwin hybrid mutant: bright red petals irregularly fringed and serrated like spiky red hair — hence the name, after the comic character Robbedoes (Spirou) — with a black, yellow-rimmed heart inside. Long sturdy 55-60 cm stems, early April flowering, reliably perennial in the border. Plant 15 cm deep in full sun; a conversation-piece cut flower.
